Welcome Devon!

North Psychology Clinic is excited to welcome a new therapist and clinician, Devon Whitehead, PhD, LP. Devon’s first day is Monday, April 6, 2020 and will have IMMEDIATE OPENINGS!

Devon has many years of experience in therapy and counseling, and she comes to us from a local intensive outpatient program (IOP). Devon has her doctorate degree in counseling psychology from the University of Akron in Ohio, and she is a Licensed Psychologist (LP) in the state of Minnesota. Devon specializes in the treatment of trauma across the lifespan, as she works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She uses a variety of tools, including Eye Movement Desensitization-Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). 

Devon believes strongly in meeting clients where they are at and working together to meet the client's goals.  She enjoys fun, genuine relationships with her clients, in which she is very much herself.  Clients often remark on how "real" she is as a therapist. Devon is a wife and mother, has three cats, kits, and enjoys music, movies, reading, and true crime.
