I view therapy as a collaborative endeavor, coming from a place of respect among all parties involved. Parents know their individual child “deeply;” my training and experience helps me to know children “widely;” and the child has an important voice. When we collaborate with the child at the center, we create a strong team with rich resources to draw on to make things better. I work from a strength-based perspective, helping children and their families discover and nurture their unique strength — while empowering them to use these strengths to make changes in their lives.
