Include a love for working with children and families, I bring a genuine, easy to talk to calming, personal touch. I believe in meeting each person and family where they are at and helping them move forward. With twenty years of experience as a school social worker, I bring a rich understanding of the educational, social, and emotional needs of children to my work as a therapist. I use several treatment modalities, including Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Family System approaches to help clients overcome barriers and move towards a calm state of being. I believe that integrating the whole person through mind-body techniques will assist in getting individuals to that goal.

When I am not in clinic I enjoy being with my blended family of five - Dave (hubby), Sam (28), Rick (19), Raiah (15), Emerson (13), and two fur pups, Charlie (3) and Ruby (8 weeks old) who is going to be a therapy dog someday. I love working on home projects, restoring old furniture, working in my garden, watching sunsets and going for long bike rides with my husband. In my free time I enjoy baking or cooking for my friends and family. I spend much of my time being a mom these days,  watching my kids play sports and spending time outside at the beach or with my family at a lake front cottage.
