3/30 COVID-19: Therapy services available for new and existing clients

Therapy services available during COVID-19

North Psychology Clinic is open and serving clients remotely during the COVID-19 emergency. We are accepting new clients via remote and secure video calling. We know that this is a time of major change and stress, and your emotional health is of the utmost importance to us.

Our services are currently being provided through telehealth, a confidential form of video calling, in order to keep our clients and staff safe while serving the mental health needs of our community. We will continue to evaluate the safety of in-person sessions in accordance with direction from Governor Tim Watlz.

Telehealth practice uses live video and sound to connect you, from your home, with your therapist. Telehealth appointments are as private as if you were in our office. We use secure software to connect, and we will be able to see and hear each other during the appointment.

NEW CLIENTS

If you would like to begin seeing a therapist with North Psychology Clinic:

  • Call our office at (763) 531-0566 to schedule an intake appointment.

  • Before your session, you will receive an email from info@northpsychology.com titled, “Paperwork Needed.” Please follow the link in the email and complete the forms for intake prior to your first session.

NOTE: message may go to junk mail

If you don’t see an email from us, please check your junk mail and add “info@northpsychology.com” to a list of approved mailers. If you still don’t receive an email, please contact us at (763) 531-0566.

Intake Paperwork Email
  • After you have completed the intake paperwork, your therapist or an administrative staff member will be in touch with you to give you a link for your session, which will act as your virtual ‘waiting room.’ We use a HIPPA-compliant telehealth software through doxy.me.

  • At your session time:

    • Go to the provided web address on any smart device with a connection to the internet and audio/video capability.

    • Follow the instructions to check in, and make sure to enable access to audio and video when it prompts you.

    • You will be placed in a virtual ‘waiting room,’ and your therapist will start the call shortly.

    • If you have any technical difficulties or are unable to connect, contact your therapist directly or call us at (763) 531-0566.

EXISTING CLIENTS
