Morgan Bobo

PhD, Licensed Psychologist (LP)

We’re excited to announce the addition of Morgan Bobo, PhD, LP to our clinical team!

Morgan is a Licensed Clinical Family Psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her approach in therapy is relational in order to cultivate a supportive, non-judgmental relationship. Morgan views therapy as a mechanism to empower clients to play an active role in their healing process by utilizing their strengths and resources to thrive, even when faced with systemic barriers. Her belief is that meeting clients where they are and providing tools to help clients strive toward their individual goals is critical to treatment success. She tends to be flexible in her treatment approach depending on the needs of a client, including a combination of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches.

Morgan has a myriad of clinical experience treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, attention difficulties, and behavioral challenges. Her interests and experiences additionally include treating concerns associated with adolescence, parenting, multicultural, and LGBTQ+ issues. Furthermore, she is experienced in psychological assessment. Morgan earned her Ph.D. at Southern Illinois University--Carbondale in Child Clinical Psychology.

When she is not working you can find her spending time with her family, friends, and her four-year-old Siberian Husky, Biscuit. Morgan loves to travel, both domestically and internationally, and does so as often as she can. Morgan co-leads a book club in the community and also is a co-founder of Brown Girls Who, a group that focuses on acknowledging and celebrating issues of interest and importance to Black women via podcast and events.
