I am a Licensed Clinical Family Psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My approach in therapy is relational in order to cultivate a supportive, non-judgmental relationship. I view therapy as a mechanism to empower clients to play an active role in their healing process by utilizing their strengths and resources to thrive, even when faced with systemic barriers. My belief is that meeting clients where they are and providing tools to help clients strive toward their individual goals is critical to treatment success. I tend to be flexible in my treatment approach depending on the needs of a client, including a combination of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches.

I have a myriad of clinical experience treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, attention difficulties, and behavioral challenges. My interests and experiences additionally include treating concerns associated with adolescence, parenting, multicultural, and LGBTQ+ issues. Furthermore, I am experienced in psychological assessment. I earned my Ph.D. at Southern Illinois University--Carbondale in Child Clinical Psychology.

When I am not working you can find me spending time with my family, friends, and my four-year-old Siberian Husky, Biscuit. I love to travel, both domestically and internationally, and do so as often as I can. I co-lead a book club in the community and also am a co-founder of Brown Girls Who, a group that focuses on acknowledging and celebrating issues of interest and importance to Black women via podcast and events.
