My passions in my practice include a love for working with children, families, and young adults. I bring a genuine, easy-to-talk-to, calming, personal touch. I believe in meeting each person and family where they are and helping them move forward. With twenty years of experience as a school social worker, I bring a rich understanding of the educational, social, and emotional needs of children to my work as a therapist.
I utilize several treatment modalities, including Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Yoga calm, Mindfulness, and Family System approaches to help clients overcome barriers and move towards a calm state of being. Integrating the whole person through mind-body techniques will assist individuals achieve their goals.
When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy being with my blended family of six: Dave, and his wife Amber, Rick, Raiah, and Emerson. We also have two golden retrievers: Charlie and Ruby Rae. I love working on home projects, restoring old furniture, thrifting, gardening, watching sunsets, teaching spin class, or riding my bike. In my free time, I enjoy baking and spending time with family as well as walking the dogs or visiting the dog park. I spend much of my time being a sports spectator, watching our kids perform in college volleyball and football, as well as love spending time outside especially camping or near any body of water.
